Removing or, loosening the Radio from the dashboard

There are several different types of radio installation now.

The oldest and still the most popular is the type found in Fords, Vauxhalls,Renaults, & several other cars.. Here two simple wire prongs are inserted at either end and the radio is then drawn towards you.

These prongs cost little &  many people improvise with various wire items.

Some now use one hole instead of the two shown.

Several Car manufacturers now flush fit their Audio.o

A similar principal is adopted.. Just the prongs are replaced by flat steel keys.and are usually inserted just below the Radioo.

Again, many people improvise with small knives or even nail files.
